Job Description :
General Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Master's Degree or Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience building software applications with an emphasis on web and multi-tiered systems
- Fluent English speaker and writer
- Detail-oriented
- Self-managed / self-starter
- Good team player with desire to share knowledge with and learn from others
- Willingness and capacity to work non-day shift hours to accommodate US and European trainers / mentors
- Flexibility to handle maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and development work interchangeably
- Russian speaker a plus
Job Requirements :
Technical Knowledge Required:
- J2SE 1.6 / 1.7
- Knowledge of basic design patterns
- Java Servlets API
- MVC frameworks (preferably Spring MVC)
- Template engines, such as FreeMarker
- HTML and JavaScript basics (DHTML is a plus)
- Basic working knowledge in RDBMS/SQL, JDBC, Hibernate
- Basic working knowledge in HTTP protocols and related APIs in Java
- Other tools: GIT, Eclipse 3.x, Maven 3, JUnit 4
- Experience with Oracle
- Linux/Unix as desktop development and production environment
Additional Technical Experience of Interest:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and / or PostgreSQL
- Experience with XML/Experienced with WEB Services (Axis, WSDL, etc.)
- Experience with Java-based rich-client applications (preferably Eclipse/SWT)
- Experience with GUI APIs (SWT)
- J2EE Frameworks (Spring)
