Position Responsibilities Job Responsibilities Include: • Develop/maintain a web based application framework that supports multiple products designed as pluggable components. • Work with a team that adheres to an agile development methodology and ensure the proper use of test driven development for producing high quality output. • Perform moderately complex analysis and design, using already acquire architecture design principles, resulting in technical specifications and unit test plans, and devise sample input data to test accuracy of programs. • Acquire and maintain an advanced understanding of the business processes that are supported by the software. • Solid understanding of functional integration points, entity relationships and module flows, and interface with functional specialists to ensure solution design and integrity. • Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies. Identify applicable solutions and implement with existing networks when appropriate. • Employ the use of the best software practices and patterns, and provide governance to ensure quality is achieved as a priority. • Good verbal and written communication skills. Position Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • 3+ years industry experience as a software developer using Microsoft Tools and Technologies Technical Skills Required: • .Net 3.5 and higher / C# • Visual Studio 2010/12/13 • Good understanding of Architecture Design Principles and Patterns • Object Oriented Programming Experience • Relational Database Development/Design  (SQL Server preferred) • Mobile Development  (Hybrid App Experience preferred) • RESTful web services (WebApi preferred) • HTML5 / Javascript / CSS (jQuery & AngularJS preferred) • Multi-Tiered Applications • Agile / TDD development Technical Skills Preferred: • Entity Framework • Business Intelligence data modeling/design • Experience with Business Intelligence software (a plus, MicroStrategy preferred) SunGard provides solutions for the insurance industry in each of the following major business lines: life and health, annuities and pensions, property and casualty, reinsurance and asset management.
