Summary
Consults with customers/users and potential customers in establishing and planning for systems requirements and in converting to use of company products. Analyzes business needs and make recommendations taking into consideration long and short-term business objectives. Turns various products over to development staff. Installs and coordinates the introduction of company products at customer sites. May manage multiple projects. May identify possible adverse financial effects and/or legal ramifications
Responsibilities
Under little or no daily supervision is the primary functional point of contact with the client while the client is in the Conversion/Deconversion/Startup process. Performs a variation of activities from coordinating/executing data mapping/verification, user client acceptance testing, conversion mock testing, issue/problem resolution, implementation, notification, and post implementation support. Acts as consultant for options selection/management. Overcomes language and terminology differences and establishes rapport and confidence with the client/partner, organizations, vendors and internal TSYS departments. Works independently. Coordinates complex and/or multiple projects. Analyzes and defines data (i.e data mapping, product features, statements, cards, interfaces,..) May support or participate in the execution of Client Advisor job duties. Participates/facilitates/leads meetings. Group level focused. Mentors Project Analyst I/II levels. Has a higher level of accountability/responsibility. May supervise a limited number of team members, typically 2 to 3.
Qualifications
Education/Experience for Project Analyst 2
Four year college degree and 2 or more years professional experience or 4 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
Education/Experience for Project Analyst Sr
Four year college degree and 4 or more years professional experience or 6 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
Education/Experience for Project Specialist
Four year college degree and 6 or more years professional experience or 8 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
Education/Experience for Project Consultant Level
Four year college degree and 8 or more years professional experience or 10 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
