Responsibilities:
- Develop deep analyses and use your product sense to interpret the results and help drive key product decisions.
- Effectively communicate the results with the product teams to apply the learnings for improving user experience
- Create visualizations to make data easily accessible across the organization
- Act as a data steward, who will conduct preliminary investigation to identify data quality issues through data profiling, monitoring reports and automated data health checks.

Qualifications:
- Strong database experience including proficiency in SQL coding across standard commercial databases (e.g Oracle, Teradata, MySQL etc.).
- 2+ years of experience working with large data sets, working with distributed computing tools MapReduce, Hadoop, Pig, Hive or other NoSQL experience
- Extensive experience with analytical tools supporting data analysis, reporting and visualization (MicroStrategy, Tableau, R, etc.)
- Experience in Python/Java is a plus

Purpose

Provide technical direction to the project team, including project managers, analysts, engineers and customers.
Responsible for requirements analysis and design of various technical aspects, such as software and network on a large scale project in a distributed global environment.
Accountable for bringing together different aspects of IT design, business architecture, domain expertise and applying it in a relevant manner to the design of SITA products or services, with an awareness of integration with the wider SITA portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, design, and configure multiple streams of work with an appreciation for SITA's vision;
- Develop solutions that reflect strategic, long-term direction and planning with a complete understanding of interdependencies;
- Understand client requirements at a detailed level in order to translate them into technical specifications;
- Develop creative and innovative architectural designs for a complex module with minimal supervision;
- Lead a small team working on new modules or system development;

Education & Qualifications

Experience

- Minimum of 8-10 years IT experience or equivalent work experience in a relevant environment.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops is desirable
