Purpose
Translate and align technical, business and operational requirements of systems, applications, services etc into technical and / or functional specifications, ensuring the overall capability / viability of a specific product(s) is achievable.Ensure the integration of the requirements match those of interacting systems, applications and services both inside and outside of SITA in the wider airline community.
Act as a 'technical lead' for multiple small to medium projects that have a significant business impact ensuring the solution(s) developed are able to sustain the long-term technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to perform installation and support activities regarding Apache, Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic as well as take part in migration of existing applications to new Data Center.Education & Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar- Where applicable a recognised professional qualification is desirable.
Experience
- At least 8+ years experience in deployment or support of application software, implementing systems and modules with experience of multiple full lifecycle implementations.- Formal project management training desirable
Knowledge & Skills
Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in installation, configuration and support with following productsWeblogic Server 11g+ (10.3.3 and higher)
Extensive experience on building and supporting Weblogic clustered environments
Sun JDK 32 bit and 64bit
Apache
Tomcat
JBOSS
Additional Products
Working knowledge of following products will benefit while performing tasks
Experience with installation, configuration and support of Gigaspaces
Oracle DB 11g+
Knowledge on upgrade and patching of OFM product
