LinkedIn is looking for a Manager in the Business Applications team who will provide effective collaboration, facilitation and leadership supporting the ERP BSA team and business partners, through both support and implementation of new applications, rollouts, projects etc. This position will manage a diverse set of internal staff and external development partners supporting LinkedIn’s Finance applications. Job Function

Responsibilities:
Process Enablement & Optimization
- Engage, coordinate and align with business partners on projects.
- Manifests broad domain expertise in business processes and systems.
- Leads and guides team on delegated project activities.
- Ensure disciplined development methodology is followed for continuous evolution and optimization for the Oracle solutions.
- Analyze and design customizations and extensions using the Oracle recommended framework or tool sets.
- Analyze advice and coordinate module processes, configure changes, application enhancements, and recommend solutions to maximize the effectiveness of the Oracle Applications.
Support & Compliance
- Manage day to day support activities and ensure smooth month-end and year-end close for Oracle R12 EBS Record to Report and Procure to Pay applications.
- Work with team to implement new compliance policies, ensure compliance policies and standards are met and measured.
- Ensure agreed upon support SLA’s are met.
- Take complete ownership of the monthly release deliverables including any customizations and enhancements.
Customer Focus & Partnering
- Recommend innovative solutions foreseeing the future direction of the business, its drivers and the technology strategy.
- Collaborates with customers on identification, recommendation and adoption of best practices for small to medium sized projects.
- Present multiple options to customers during decision making process.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science. MBA or a MS in Information Systems preferred but not required.
- 3+ years managing and leading a team of business analysts and developers.
- 8+ years of experience in implementation, development, process re-engineering and support of Oracle EBS applications Suite mainly Oracle Financials which include all aspects of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Global Intercompany, Sub-Ledger Accounting, Cash Management, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Purchasing, EB Tax, Approvals Management, Oracle Time and Labor and Oracle Self-service applications
- 4+ years’ experience in delivery, deployment and support (on-shore and off-shore) for an Oracle ERP in a global company.
- Must have strong understanding of SOX controls, compliance and change management for business systems.
- Ability to identify, gather requirements, design and developing interfaces from 3rd party systems into Oracle applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills.
- Successful track record in delivering Business System solutions on time and on budget.
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with IT and Business Partners.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex process and technology issues.
