Job description

LinkedIn’s HRIT team is searching for a passionate technology and systems oriented professional to join us in building our learning technology platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class HRIT team focused on transforming the trajectory of our employees’ careers.

This position will provide enterprise support to LinkedIn’s employee base and includes the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and similar technologies.

Key Performance Objectives:
  • Build and maintain governance model regarding system changes and enhancements
  • Revise and maintain security schema
  • Provide administration and technical support of the learning management system
  • Research and resolve LMS issues that have been escalated to the support team
  • Maintain key relationships with LMS vendor
  • Coordinate the development and communication of policies, procedures, feature updates, and operational status of the learning platforms
  • Research, identify and recommend learning technology trends and act as an advocate for future updates, upgrades and implantations
  • Manage the development and implementation LinkedIn's learning platform strategy
  • Collaborate with enterprise learning partners and serve on the LMS governance committee
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with learning platform vendors
  • Provide training and help documentation for LMS users
  • Generate and create LMS metrics.
  • Support eLearning administration: loading packages to the LMS, dynamic enrollment, monitoring progress, reporting and providing metrics

Critical Competencies for Success:
  • Thrive in a hyper-growth environment - Must be motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working in environments of high ambiguity
  • 5+ years of experience managing administrative and technical support responsibilities for a learning management system (Extra points for experience with Cornerstone On Demand)
  • Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, computer science, or a related field desired
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, and training users on learning applications
  • Experience with vendor development and management
  • Experience with LMS APIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with project management techniques
Preferred
  • Experience with systems integrations and process consultation preferred
  • Ecommerce a plus
  • Salesforce, Tableau, and/or Webassessor a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot with Scorm an AICC
  • Experience with multiple LMS
