Position Description
 
Provides telephone support to end users regarding systems status, connectivity, network status, hardware/software support, and other information technology related issues. Analyzes inquiries and determines appropriate technical or procedural solutions. Consults with technical and operational staff. Escalates more complex problems to next level of support when solutions are unclear. Documents and tracks status of client inquiries and resolutions.   Must be able to work independently and be a self starter.
 
Enterprise Role Overview
 
Proficient to work fairly independently on the most complex projects, and often on multiple phases. Has working knowledge of business or function for which technical support is needed to diagnose or resolve problems. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project. Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates. Typically has 3-5 years experience in IT or equivalent.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is a plus
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to communicate with all levels of management, whether operational or technical staff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.
Demonstrate leadership and assertiveness
Must be able to work independently and be a self starter.
Must be able to perform in a virtual team as an independent contributor.
Must be able to work holidays/weekends on a rotating basis.
