Job Description :
The Risk/Quant Infrastructure Team is focused on providing the common toolkits and technology utilized by multiple product areas in Risk/Quant Analytics and support for Risk in PA.

Examples of some recent projects undertaken by this group include:
- AT3 NextGen Project
- Adoption of SQLite as data caching solution for quantitative applications
- Enhancing the common risk calculation library
- Building and supporting batch job usage logging (DB and web implementation)
- Significant efficiency improvements to Risk in PA
- Ongoing enhancements to Risk in PA feature-set


The projects tend to be fluid in this team, and may involve significant development on either VMS or Linux environments, and entail technologies on a wide-ranging scale of adoption within FactSet. As a result, we are looking for someone that is highly self-motivated and demonstrates technical versatility to work on a variety of projects.
Job Requirements :
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in programming with C++ or an OOP language
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment

Highly Desired:
- Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Programming in a multi-threaded, distributed environment
- Ability to easily adapt to different codebase, project areas, and technology
- Proven record of successful project completions
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivating and proactive
