Position Description • Delivery and operation of SunGard Financial Services’ (FS) business infrastructure application and messaging services • Ensure operating standards and procedures are followed in accordance with departmental guidelines and service level requirements • Partner with corporate application owners, FS business segments, SunGard Information Systems & Services (ISS), third-party vendors and contractors to deliver solutions effectively • Work interactively with engineering to develop and verify operational feasibility of solutions • Escalation support for operations to provide service delivery, prompt response and 24x7 service availability • Escalate issues as necessary and work proactively to avoid service interruptions or impact • Assist with service delivery functions including server administration, troubleshooting and maintenance • 10% travel as business requires Position Requirements • BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required • Two or more years administration experience in an enterprise applications environment including  web, application,  messaging and email servers with a multi-site active directory configuration • Systems administration experience with Microsoft technologies including IIS, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Exchange, Lync, SCOM and Server 2012 preferred • Working knowledge of key business applications and technologies including File Shares, SANs, SQL Server and SharePoint products and technologies preferred • Working knowledge of WAN/LAN architectures, systems & protocols preferred.  Experience with managing load balancers an advantage • Experience with Cisco UCS or other blade chassis systems is preferred • Experience  troubleshooting application configuration and performance issues • Experience in the configuration and utilization of Microsoft System Center suite including Virtual Machine Manager, Configuration Manager, Operations Manager and Data Protection Manager is desirable • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting is preferred • Hands on experience in a data center infrastructure is desirable • Technical knowledge and experience with application security concepts including authentication and authorization methodologies, federated identity management, and public key infrastructure preferred • Previous customer- facing experience in a fast-paced production environment desirable • Ability to interact with customers and drive issues/escalations through to resolution as required • Effective verbal and written communications skills required • At least one industry-recognized certification desired; Microsoft certification preferred • Ability to work effectively in a globally diverse team environment as well as independently is essential SunGard Financial Systems provides mission-critical software and IT services to institutions in virtually every segment of the financial services industry.
