The Corp. IT Support Engineer will work with the Corp.
IT Team to rollout, diagnose, and maintain Mac systems for Etsy Admin.
We are seeking a strong Desktop/Laptop Support
Engineer with experience on Mac platforms to join our Corp. IT Team. If
you are resourceful, like working with other smart folks, and have
previous experience in supporting several hundred users, we would love
to hear from you. This full-time position is based in our offices in
Dublin, Ireland.
The Corp. IT Team provides support (hardware and software) to our employees, both in local and satellite offices around the world. This opportunity will allow you to have a direct impact on the vision and direction of the Corp. IT Team.

About the Job
The Helpdesk Team is vital to keeping every other team in the office running smoothly. You will:
- Participate in and oversee the helpdesk
- Provide mentoring to other technicians in technical skills and service delivery
- Participate in the hiring process to grow the team
- Work on plans to develop and evolve the team and its processes to continually improve and enhance the customer experience.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software and deliver top-notch support to employees
- Develop and implement training programs to increase technical awareness and knowledge transfer to the company as a whole.
About You
Our Helpdesk Engineers are smart, savvy, collected, and committed to creating the best possible user experience. Things we are looking for in a candidate include:
- A solid understanding of Mac OS X.
- Top-notch troubleshooting skills and a diagnostic intuition.
- A constant drive to improve the support experience of our employees and our internal processes: "How can I make things better?"
- Initiative and problem solving skills: If you don’t know how to do something you consider it a challenge to try to figure it out for yourself (we are, after all, a DIY company).
- The ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to travel (about 20%) to our London and Berlin offices.
