The Platforms organization was created to create a set of common best-of-breed platform assets, reduce costs of development, and improve product time-to-market. The unified Platform group consists of Content Production Platforms, Online & Search, Core Entities, Content Marketplace, Text Metadata Services (TMS), Research & Development (R&D) , Social and News Technology functions with common leadership, strategy and vision. Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for managing TIBCO EMS on various environments.Interact with clients to understand their requirements, recommend the best solution(s) and implement the same. Lead, advise and liaise with Level 1 & Level 2 support teams to manage and resolveissues/queries raised by clients on day-to-day basis.Diagnose and fix TIBCO EMS related issues as and when required.Follow company standards for TIBCO EMS and implement the same in all environments.Interact with clients to understand their requirements, recommend the best solution(s) and implement the same.

Qualifications

Required Skills:5 + years in the software development industry, with significant experience in TIBCO EMS Design, Development and/or Administration on various Operating Systems.Solid understanding of basic networking, distributed computing environment and various file transfer/messaging protocols.Experience in working with Multi-Threaded applications.Knowledge on the various adapters available to access TIBCO EMS from different type of operating systems/applications(Java, .Net, etc).Deep understanding of TIBCO EMS Architecture and hands-on experience on managing complex business cases.Experience in requirement gathering, creating technical design documents. Experience in TIBCO EMS Installation, Configuration and Optimize for performance on Solaris, Linux & Windows Operating Systems.Knowledge of XML/XSD.Experience in agile development process.Desired SkillsBasic knowledge of Unix Administration.Basic knowledge of Microsoft .Net, C# and Java.Seek out new technologies and ideas to add value to our products.At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
