Engineering Manager - Client Tools and Infrastructure

Come help make Twitter Mobile a model for large-scale mobile development across
the industry. At Twitter Mobile we’re exploring new ways to release software to our
users at high quality, while supporting rapid iteration and experimentation. We
release on mobile every week! You will lead our tools and infrastructure team and
be responsible for cutting edge mobile device testing and build environments. The
ideal candidate will share our passion for test-driven development, continuous
integration and automation to produce frequent high-quality releases.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on technical and seasoned engineering manager
to join our team and lead a passionate, technical team of developers. If you have
empathy for mobile developers, passion to enable engineering productivity at scale,
thrive in a fast paced iterative engineering environment, have experience delivering
scalable systems and a desire to contribute to open source community, you will find
this role liberating and challenging.
Technically the ideal engineering manager candidate will have significant
experience and expertise in more than one of the following areas:

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*5+ years of build, release and automation experience with products developed in
Java

*In-depth understanding and experience with Gerrit, Jenkins, Gradle, XCode and the
like

*Experience leading teams on 7+ people

*Experience with mobile device test infrastructure is a plus

*Experience with engineering teams implementing build systems for complex source
code, and continuous integration infrastructure.

*Development experience with IOS and Android a big plus
Understanding of Agile methodologies a plus

*Good understanding of virtualization, dynamic provisioning, Linux , Mac OS and
Windows a plus

*Education and Training:
B.S. Computer Science or related field preferred
