Position Description SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Head of IT Delivery Services - South East Asia, and as part of an Asia Pacific-wide IT team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the local IT infrastructure as well as some project based work.  The key office is Singapore, but responsibilities will also extend to the other remote sites Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Pakistan. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: • Manage and administer all aspects of the local network and provide day-to-day support to the IT users. • Jointly assist with the support of IT users in other regional offices. • Assist in the implementation and support of IT projects and new technology developments as appropriate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supporting the local users with all day-to-day IT related tasks. • Manage IT hardware and data as appropriate. • Liaise with vendors for purchasing of IT equipment • Provide training and assistance to users as required • Ensure that the network is administrated in a professional manner, all configurations and documentation are updated as required, access controls and security is maintained and procedures are in place for disaster recovery. • As part of a team, assist in supporting the regional IT infrastructure including the core backbone WAN, remote access, security and key business-wide applications. • Contribute to planning and project activities as required. Position Requirements KEY SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS: • A minimum of three years relevant experience working in a diverse IT environment. • Experience with IT systems including core infrastructure hardware; local, remote and wide-area network technologies; client systems management; security and data integrity management; as well as administration knowledge of mainstream Microsoft “back office” applications. • Ability to liaise with LAN users and hardware/service providers in a professional manner • Ability to work with minimal supervision, act pro-actively and a willingness to take responsibility; excellent communication skills in person and on the phone; ability to work as part of a global team; a flexible approach to working hours – understanding that the nature of the role will require out of hours work. • Proven IT certification level skills - such MCP, MCSE, CAN, CNE.
