Position Responsibilities We are currently engaged in a number of challenging client projects that require senior Core Java developers and architects with strong fundamentals in software engineering and computer science to address challenging design and deployment problems. The client applications under development use advanced Java technology in the web development space. Java Skill with experience using (SOLR/Lucene or search engine)and Spring and REST will be the keys. You may be the right person for this team if: • Enjoy Java/J2EE development and have successfully delivered web apps Position Requirements Experience with as many of the following: • Apache Solr 4.4.0 - both the platform and the Solr Java API • Spring, Rest • XSLT 2.0 • Must have 3-5 years of programming • Must have minimum 3 years of hands on experience developing server side applications with core Java/J2EE and XML. •5+ years of Java/J2EE development •3+ years of experience architecture J2EE applications •Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design •Experience with web development •Ability to effectively communicate with business and technical team members •Demonstrated experience throughout the full SDLC Experience working in a team environment. • Ability to work under pressure like a ‘swat’ team, producing results in a faster turnaround mode. • Ability to analyze and explain the risks involved in using, or not using, technology solutions to solve business or organizational problems and not compromising on the architectural direction and vision. • Ability to travel a plus SunGard Offers full time, salaried opportunities, a competitive compensation structure and a very generous benefits packages which includes, but is not limited to, a matching 401K program, tuition reimbursement, etc. We are also proud to offer robust professional training and development programs which help SunGard Consultants to continually stay ahead of the learning curve.
