Come be a catalyst in the Technical Program Management team; we are the central nervous system that allows Twitter Engineering to thrive at scale. The ideal candidate has a strong history of managing and growing a senior TPM organization and partnering with a wide array of teams to deliver on cross-functional initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of TPMs driving functional, technical, and operational delivery
  • Develop and ensure adoption of best practices within the TPM team to optimize delivery
  • Partner with stakeholder groups to facilitate execution across a breadth of program
Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years managing or leading a team in Technical Program Management or related capacity
  • 7+ years as a TPM, engineering leader, product manager (technical domain), or related discipline
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Proven success at attracting, coaching and growing top technical talent
  • Desire to partner with product teams to define strategy and requirements
  • Proficiency in working with engineering teams to design, scope, and shepherd features
  • Expertise in analyzing functional specs, project / release plans, and roadmaps
  • Power to influence peers / managers and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to scale a team to own and and execute multiple programs simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications & Ideal Candidates
  • Masters degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and productivity tools
  • Strong track record of leading a team through multiple release cycles
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve systemic issues
  • Interest and capacity to mentor TPMs and foster growth
  • Active Twitter usage and a fascination with bird names would be feathers in your cap
