Position Description The security administrator's responsibility is interact with clients and all internal SCS departments to review and execute technical changes that effect our clients environments.  This is a fast paced position requiring strong technical skills as well as strong judgment and decision making abilities.    A sampling of areas of responsibility are: Review firewall change requests for appropriateness and seek proper approvals prior to routing for implementation Review and implement midrange security requests including user creation/deletion and password resets Perform production readiness check to ensure all systems meet security standards and policies prior to production implementation Assist in Internal, external and 3rd party audits Assist in business continuity exercises Position Requirements Qualified candidates will have the following requirements: 3 to 5 years in an IT Security or related field Knowledge of Information Security design principles and practices Understanding of TCP/IP network implementation and troubleshooting Excellent communication skills Experience in working with external and internal clients Experience in windows, Linux and Unix security and operations Knowledge of ITIL Processes preferred but not required: IT Security Certifications such as SSCP, CCNE or equivalent Experience with Checkpoint, Netscreen and Cisco Firewalls Experience with powershell and other scripting languages Experience with Nessus and other related security tools SunGard Financial Systems provides mission-critical software and IT services to institutions in virtually every segment of the financial services industry.
