Position Description Include but not limited to the following: • Day-to-day technical support of SunGard’s Apollo and InvestOne Enterprise Distributed Architecture ASP and customer-installed environments o Support all technical aspects of SunGard customer’s distributed environment – MS-Windows, and Linux o Record tickets and service requests by scheduling / executing tasks on Apollo & InvestOne Enterprise o Follow-up to ensure the client’s request is serviced in an appropriate and timely manner o Directly follow-up with client contacts to ensure satisfactory resolution. o Work with other technical resources within Sungard e.g. data centers, Network, etc. o Escalate issues as appropriate. • Monitoring o Establish and use monitoring tools to manage and address environment issues in a pro-active and timely manner. o Function as a primary / backup on a rotational basis. • Code Movement (Maintenance) / Release Implementation o Following the prescribed guidelines and procedures, move code to UAT/QA and Production environments as instructed by Development-QA Group, o Apply OS updates/patches as required • Off-Hours Support o Provide on-call processing support on a rotational basis (I.E. 1 week every 6th week, including weekend) • Installation – Client Site o On a request-basis, provide in-person application Installation Support at client site(s) as required. • Projects & Other Assigned Tasks o Work on assigned projects/tasks as assigned by the Team Leader. Position Requirements  3-5 years experience in following applications on MS Windows support environment o Microsoft IIS experience – configuration & management  hosting/redirecting websites  Certificate management  Access management o Microsoft transaction server  Deploying and maintaining applications  Administrating, monitoring, diagnosing and tuning o Advanced Windows 2000/w2k3 server administration o Advanced knowledge of BEA WebLogic or other J2EE application servers  Deploying, patching and maintaining applications  Administrating, monitoring, diagnosing and tuning o Hands On  DBMS, specifically Sybase & DB2 o Basic troubleshooting of IP based communication issues o Understanding of basic Solaris/Linux administration including users, groups, permissions, file systems, crontab, profiles and environment control.
