Senior User Experience Architect
Define and create innovative data-driven desktop, mobile and tablet experiences for market-leading legal research and practice management applications; Define complex application functionality, create interfaces in the absence of business requirements and justify design decisions; Develop user experience maps, story boards, work flows, prototypes and annotated wireframes with Visio or similar tools; Collaborate with product development and user research to understand business requirements and create a compelling UX (User experience) vision; Collaborate with user research to conduct design research, provide supporting research materials and translate findings into designs; Collaborate with visual design to create elegant user interfaces and rich user experiences; Collaborate with and provide direction to technology and product development teams; Work with cross functional teams to ensure consistency and quality across the platform.

Qualifications

Position Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related discipline and 5 years of related UX (user experience) design experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related discipline and 3 years of related UX (user experience) design experience. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently: 3 years of experience developing story boards, work flows, wireframes and documentation for complex expert systems; 3 years experience in a UX role, working with cross functional team including but not limited to product owners and software engineers; 2 years of experience conducting and/or participating in design research and translating findings into designs; 2 years experience presenting concepts and justifying design decisions to stakeholders; 2 years experience dealing with complex technical concepts and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities) for information organization and user interface designs; 2 years experience applying Usability Best Practices, Human Factors, Cognitive Processes, Interface Design Principles and HCI Methods; 2 years experience with Visio, Axure, Balsamiq or similar tools; At least 1 year experience working in an agile environment.
