Description

Job Responsibilities:
This role would be responsible for handling the following types of activities:

Application server administration (installation, configuration, monitoring, updating, support).
Support for application integration (database connection, JMS, WebService, service bus).
Experience with high performance and high availability applications.
Database server administration (installation, configuration, monitoring, updating, support, SQL).

Technical Knowledge:

Operating system knowledge: Windows Server versions, Linux Server version, Unix Server versions
Infrastructure Knowledge (depending on customer environment): Clustering, load balancing devices and technologies, experience with shared infrastructure environments, SSL
Application knowledge:
- JAVA (JBoss, Websphere depending on customer environment), Windows Services/Win32 applications
- browser technology/terminology (HTTP, HTML, AJAX, SOAP, CSS, Javascript)
Development Knowledge:
- HTML, AJAX, SOAP, CSS, Javascript
Knowledge and troubleshooting experience with infrastructure: Server hardware, networking, SAN/NAS ( if applicable), client/server communication, web based applications
Large scale client deployments.
