Responsible for design, development & testing of software & web/internet applications to include quality analysis, delivery & support development of IT solutions across internal/external products, databases, infrastructures & networks. Duties include: write software, make modifications to existing software & integrate software applications & modules; create & execute unit & integration testing; execute on provided design; provide technical support to operations or other development teams; create & maintain required technical documentation/manual related to assigned components to ensure supportability; make suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements; participate in project planning to analyze development requirements, provide design options, work breakdown & estimates of work; work on smaller projects or a particular system or application within larger projects that require a singular area of expertise; provide status updates for scope of work within projects; participate in internal team & status meetings; develop software using disciplined software development processes, adhere to team/company standards, software best practice guidelines & corporate policies; enhance Front end User Interface (UI) design for web applications to support business based on business needs.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field plus 2 years’ experience in an information technology position. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include the following: 2 years’ experience with Java/J2EE development; 2 years’ experience with Spring, Spring Work Flow, Hibernate, Dojo, JSON, & Velocity; 2 years’ experience in JSP, Servlet, EJB, JSTL, Struts, Tiles; 2 years’ experience with web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML; 2 years’ experience in web service & web service security; 2 years’ experience with database design & development using SQL, PL/SQL & Stored Procedures; 2 years’ experience with UNIX & PERL; 2 years’ experience with Unison, Salesforce & Big Machines.
