Description

DESCRIPTION:
The
Software Engineer will support in the design and build of new software
components in accordance with agreed specifications. He will complete
subtasks in the development of products and solutions according to
detailed specifications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Concept design and realization
- Development
of sub-concepts as part of an overall concept according to
specifications within a development team (e.g. research, test-runs).
- Development,
assessment and provision of solution elements. Documentation of
solution elements, preparing installation briefings.
- Test of requirements in line with the industry standard according to specified test concepts including the documentation
- Assessment of development costs and estimation of effort
Software development
- Supporting a requirement analysis, specifications and documentation of client specific solutions.
- Development of solutions based on modern J2EE or .Net environment as well as C++ environment
- Java Script
- Participation within development teams for project and product development
- Quality assurance of project solutions and products
- Support, assistance and consulting for clients and their respective product
- Realization of tests and data integration. Identification of emerging problems within the integration of products and solutions
- Documentation of results, operational controlling and risk management.
- Support in securing customer satisfaction and fostering customer relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced knowledge in current software technologies, such as J2EE, .Net, Java, SOA and web
techniques as well as good knowledge of C++ and Java Script
- Advanced knowledge of software development processes and of quality assurance of
software solutions
- Knowledge in prevalent areas, such as Microsoft, Linux, administration and data base design
- Good Communication skills
- Bachelor or Master degree in a technical, computer science or engineering program of study
- Graduates and up to three years of work experience
- Fast learner, Flexibility to adapt quickly to change in requirements
- Interested and proactive, asks questions and shows innovative ideas
- Good Team Player
- Good SW development skills independent of the technology used
- Flexibility to travel throughout the United States
