Software Engineer Ads & Data Mining
The Marketing Solutions Engineering team has technology ownership of all advertising and messaging products and solutions for advertisers to reach the world's largest audience of professionals. This includes offerings in brand and performance advertising, Company pages (for various companies to establish a brand and experience on LinkedIn), and monetization of the Company follower ecosystem. Collectively, this represents more than 25% of LinkedIn's revenue.
Our systems power fast-growing, state-of-the-art and innovative advertising programs and are built on large-scale, distributed web services utilizing the latest technologies. We are looking for people with experience in large-scale deployments in search/advertising/yield optimization with a background in data processing, analysis, optimization, and experimentation to maximize business success metrics.

Desired Skills and Experience
At
least 5 years of experience in large-scale and high-performance
deployments in search/advertising/yield optimization as a Senior
Engineer or Senior Applied Researcher, or equivalent position.
Significant experience in machine learning, data mining, analysis, optimization, and experimentation to maximize business success metrics of the products.
Strong knowledge and production code experience in distributed web services.
Thrives in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and agile development environment. Strong team player. Provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to peers and less experienced team members.
Pro-actively collaborate with business and product management partners, and to design, build and optimize technical solutions for business success.
Education
MS/Phd in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
