Description

The Software Engineer II is responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component to meet agreed business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Write new software, make modifications to existing software, or integrates software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, created in partnership with others.
- Execute on provided design.
- Make suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements, which will typically be reviewed by a more senior developer.
- Implement solutions as directed within standards.
- Participate in agile planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide design options, and provide estimates of work

Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree level in computer science or a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2-5 years’ front end experience in a corporate environment, preferred
- Demonstrated working experience with modern web technologies including Single Page Application, HTML5, and Java, required
- Experience with AngularJS, knockout, dojo, or node, highly preferred
- Exposure and/or experience in formal software development lifecycle
- Experience with Agile Development, a plus
- Experience building Software-as-a-Service applications
