About this Job
Twitter is looking for great engineers to work on the order-to-cash process supporting our ads platform. You will work on enhancing and maintaining our order-mangagement system which is based on the Force.com platform, and also on integrating it with our ad serving system and our financial ERP system. You will write tools to present large amounts of financial data into comprehensible reports for internal as well as external use. You will build systems that will scale to fit the needs of our sales team as they manage our ever-growing set of diverse, domestic, and international advertisers. Having a streamlined order-to-cash process is a critical component for the continued success of Twitter’s business.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales, finance, and product teams to determine project requirements
- Build solutions on the Force.com platform using triggers, Apex and Visualforce
- Integrate the Force.com app with the ad-serving system and the ERP system
- Build system to store and present large amounts of data in easy-to-understand reports
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Significant experience in Force.com development including creating custom objects, workflows, VisualForce development, and the Apex programming language
- Extensive experience in data modeling techniques, schema design, and relational databases
- Well-versed in object-oriented programming
- Experience with OLAP, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and proven track record of partnering with different parts of the organization
Pluses
- Force.com developer certification
- Experience with front end web applications
- Experience with MicroStrategy, or other Business Intelligence software
- Active user of Twitter
