As a member of the Development team the Senior Financial Software Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the high level design of complex business solutions as well as active participation in the development of critical projects.

Essential Responsibilities
• Actively contribute to the design of systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs
• Acquire deep understanding of application and technical architecture
• Participate in all technical aspects of software development projects
• Contribute to high level technical design of system/application enhancements
• Code and document complex system enhancements

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and developing large scale enterprise applications.  Candidate will be able to conceptualize and communicate innovative and efficient solutions for complex business and technical requirements.   The ideal candidate will be energetic, self motivated, and passionate about solving business problems with technical solutions.



• Driven individual looking to influence the current and future design of industry leading software application.
• 10+ years experience in the design and development of COBOL applications.
• Ability to translate Business requirements into effective technical designs.
• Strong technical proficiency related to system design leveraging DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ.
• Superior analytical and problem solving ability
• Excellent communication – expected to
communicate directly with Business Analysts/Stakeholders.
