| Position Description
• Work on design & development of projects / frameworks. • Contribute to architectural discussions and innovations in the project / product • Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems / solutions. • Map complex business requirements to current and correct architecture, design and design new or refactor areas where insufficient infrastructure exists in the project. • Participate, contribute, assimilate and represent STS opinion on changes, enhancements and design being done to the project / product • Evaluates and recommends solutions, alternative frameworks, products / solutions available to current and future releases of product. •Work closely with various stakeholders, onsite team and collaborate on above mentioned tasks • Job functions require exercising independent judgement in order to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, and recommend changes to project’s practices and procedures. • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at various levels of the organization. • Will be required to create and maintain technical and process documentation •Should have a strong liking to evaluate latest technology, frameworks, third party APIs, components, etc.. Should be always up-to-date with latest trends and technologies available in the market. •Should have strong Java, J2EE background •Should have very up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies, technology trends, third party APIs, components, free software solutions for certain software problems, etc. •Should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills •Should have excellent logical reasoning skills •Should have excellent communication skills and inter personal skills •Must have good working exposure to Spring and Core Java •Must have good working exposure to Hibernate •Must have good working exposure to Oracle databases - any exposure to tuning queries would be beneficial •Must have worked on atleast one project using Agile methodologies •Nice to have exposure on HTML5 and JQuery •Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to work with multiple teams SunGard’s asset management solutions help institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, fund administrators and securities transfer agents improve both investment decision-making and operational efficiency, while managing risk and increasing transparency.
