Netflix
is the world's leading video streaming subscription service and is
known for its personalization technologies, innovation, and unique
company culture. We are looking for an experienced software developer to
work on our personalization services and to help us continue to
innovate and grow our global service.
You will own the services that provide Netflix customers their
personalized recommendations when they turn on their TV, computer, or
mobile device. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
iterating on A/B tests; building and supporting production systems; and
working with teams across the organization to drive projects from the
idea stage to running code.
If you have a passion for building scalable, robust systems; are
interested in pushing the envelope in personalization services; love
working with the latest technologies in a fast-paced, agile environment;
and are excited at the prospect of working on software that people use

Requirements
- 8+ years Java or equivalent language experience
- BS in Computer Science
- Proven track record delivering software
- Experience building distributed systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Algorithm and/or personalization experience
- MS or PhD in Computer Science
- Experience with cloud computing
- Experience with big data and/or Hadoop
- A/B testing experience
