Senior Software Engineer - Continuous Delivery

The Engineering Tools team is looking for a senior level DevOps Engineer to develop, support, and automate our next generation of development, build, and cloud deployment tools for our high performance, highly available distributed systems. If you love to figure out how all the pieces are put together in a build environment, you will love working with our team.

What you will do:

- Develop automated build, deployment and support tools

- Architect and support Jenkins configuration

- Develop plugins and extensions to Jenkins, Artifactory, Gradle, and other systems

- Evangelize best-practices in system automation (Chef, EC2, etc.)

The skills we require:

- Experienced in at least one script language (Python, Groovy, Ruby) or JVM-based language

- Experience configuring and supporting Jenkins or Hudson

- Linux system administration experience

- Experience with Artifactory (or Nexus)

- Excellent written communication, problem solving, and process management skills

- Desire to work in a fast paced, evolving, growing, dynamic environment

- BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)

The skills we prefer:

- Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Eucalyptus, etc.)

- Experience with Java build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gant, or Gradle

- Experience with agile development, continuous integration and automated testing
