The SabreSonic Load Manager Development Team is responsible for the development and maintenance of SabreSonic Load Manager, an aircraft weight & balance product. Load Manager is part of the Departure Control Systems suite and is used by airlines to control how passengers, their bags and cargo is loaded on to an airplane in a safe and secure manner ensuring that the aircraft stays within its center of gravity limits. The product is a flight safety critical system and needs the highest level of development quality to be maintained at all times. With a large customer base, Load Manager is in use at many airlines around the world and enables them to carry out their operations in a safe and efficient manner. SabreSonic Load Manager is a desktop application written in Visual C++ with Java based backend integration components on the Windows platform.
We need your talent as an experienced C++ Developer. This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical system with multiple technologies and will enable the right candidate to grow in their career. Looking for a highly motivated individual and a self-starter, able to work on complex scenarios with minimal supervision and guidance. The candidate must have excellent skills with Visual C++, MFC and Windows based programming. The candidate will also be well versed with object oriented programming, design patterns. Knowledge of Java concepts is a plus.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Designs and codes critical system components in accordance with established coding standards and guidelines
•Creates new ideas in order to improve application performance and stability
•Proactively develops a detailed understanding of the aircraft weight & balance domain
•Mentors and guides junior team members
•Works collaboratively with team across geographical locations
•Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Must have skills:
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual C++
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC)
•Must have a foundation in Object Oriented Programming
•Good knowledge of Design Patterns & Enterprise Patterns
•Good communication and team working skills
Nice to have skills:
•Knowledge of Boost C++ Library
•Knowledge of Oracle 11g
•Java Programming Experience
