Position Description This is a customer facing role as a member of the APAC Customer Support team. This team is responsible for supporting SunGard’s clients in the region, in their use of SunGard’s Apex Collateral & Securities Finance products. This includes documenting, investigation, answering, and progression of support issues received from our clients. It also involves close liaison with the main development & support teams in Europe. The role may involve some travel to client sites, for the purpose of installation, training, implementation, consultancy and fault diagnosis. Position Requirements Skills: • Good knowledge of Java and/or C++ language • Good understanding of SQL • Strong communication skills, including excellent written English • Excellent problem solving skills Competencies: • A team player who enjoys working in dynamic team • Eager to dive into and learn more about the business • Demonstrate flexible approach • Ability to remain calm and focussed when under pressure Knowledge/Experience: • Knowledge of the financial sector, especially Collateral Management or Securities Finance business • Experience in working in a distributed global environment • Experience of providing application support on large, complex applications Collateral, Commodities, Compliance & Tax
