Job Description :

With our growth, we have identified the need for someone with a strong background in market intelligence and data processing to take on a leadership role associated with our monthly releases to the financial sector. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key part of business processes and to take ownership of this key cross-departmental function as well as coordinating the activity of 4-5 people within the data operations team.

The key responsibilities will be

• Validation of data to be included into the next release
• Investigating any issues that arise
• Identifying potential delays
• Ensuring robust processes so that changes in client licencing are reflecting in the release
• Communicating with internal groups and clients regarding forthcoming releases.
• Management of our data operations team.

As data is loaded onto a RedHat Linux server, and processed in an Oracle database. MI and load checks are created in Microsoft Excel, a sound grasp of all of these technologies and previous experience of working with large volumes of data is essential.

Job Requirements :

• Excellent knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
• Sound understanding of Linux shell scripting and Perl.
• Extensive experience of Microsoft Excel.
• Logical thinker.
• Excellent communicator.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience of team management / coaching
• Strong Project Managementskills
• Qlikview or other dashboard technology.
• Apteco FastStats.
• Use of Salesforce reporting tools.
