Position Description Specialist for J2EE technology. • Will be maintaining and designing product architecture. Will be a point of contact for technical decisions. • Work on design & development of projects. • Contribute to architectural discussions and innovations in the project / product • Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems / solutions. • Map complex business requirements to current and correct architecture, design and design new or refactor areas where insufficient infrastructure exists in the project. • Evaluates and recommends solutions, alternative frameworks, products / solutions available to current and future releases of product. •Work closely with various stakeholders, onsite team and collaborate on above mentioned tasks • Job functions require exercising independent judgement in order to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, and recommend changes to project’s practices and procedures. • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at various levels of the organization. • Will be required to create and maintain technical and process documentation •Should have a strong liking to evaluate latest technology, frameworks, third party APIs, components, etc.. Should be always up-to-date with latest trends and technologies available in the market. Position Requirements •Should have worked on technically evaluating existing architecture / design of big software systems and providing alternative solutions and recommend appropriate path for a product / project •Should have strong J2EE background with good exposure on core Java, Servlet, JSP, JDBC, Spring, struts, JSF, Hibernate, Javascript, Oracle, Sybase, ANT, Gradle, Maven, Any repository stystem like SVN, RESTFul Services, Good hands on stored procedure writting • Good database knowledge is desirable. • Good to have - Application Servers like Weblogic, Tomcat, RDBMS like Sybase, JQuery, HTML5, Jenkin, Crucible, AngularJS knowledge, Awareness about freeware tools. •Should be strong in design patters, should have applied quite a few of them in big projects to solve real life software problems •Skills in UML in communicating design, architecture of systems would be desirable •Should have very up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies, technology trends, third party APIs, components, free software solutions for certain software problems, etc. •Should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills •Should have excellent logical reasoning skills •Should have excellent communication skills and inter personal skills •Should have worked on Syabse, Oracle database and stored procedure. •Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to work with multiple teams •Approachable personality and willing to guide and explain SunGard’s asset management solutions help institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, fund administrators and securities transfer agents improve both investment decision-making and operational efficiency, while managing risk and increasing transparency.
