Position Description

This position is responsible for analysis of data in the IT Asset Management System including licensing/entitlements, warranties, contracts, and maintenance. Another key function of this role will be to analyze system data against standards and purchasing guidelines to ensure compliance. Individuals will also be required to perform assessments and provide feedback based on individual business requirements against existing data as requested.

Duties include:
• Interfaces with other Asset Management processes such as Configuration Management, as require with respect to IT asset data.
• Responsible for quality and efficiency of problem resolution where IT asset Management expertise is required
• Reviews inventory (physical and automated) for variances with the IT asset records
• Assesses IT Asset data and provides variance information and resolution recommendations
• Identifies areas of process improvement and communicates t Regional Asset Manager
• Works with ITAM Regional Asset Managers and Technical Specialist to ensure data accuracy is current and correct
• Performs reconciliation of IT asset records in the IT asset management repository to Fixed Assets repository
• Communicate effectively with internal parties when necessary
• Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required.
• Generates reports requested by management
• Assists in resolving service requests originated by customers and internal organizations concerning fixed asset management issues.
• Prepares trend analyses and estimates the impact of various business scenarios being considered by management.
• Support implementation of initiatives such as PO, Maintenance, and Warranty load
• BF deployment and compliance
• Analysis of reports for trends, concerns, opportunities, etc.
• Liaison with users providing training and guidance
• Issues and actions register maintenance



Experience
• Experience in prioritizing and organizing daily tasks to ensure response targets are met
• Strong interpersonal skills needed for interaction with peers and other support resources globally
• Experience in owning tasks and projects and seeing them through to completion
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge and experience
• Minimum of two years of experience in a corporate setting where proficiency in the following skills can be demonstrated:
• Completing daily tasks & projects independently; taking accountability for results
• Maintaining accurate records in an accounting system and/or inventory system
• Handling urgent and routine work, both with a high degree of accuracy
• Effective communications both written and verbal with peers and with management.
• Working effectively as a member of a professional team.
