Position Description Essential Responsibilities: •  Develop and document effective and reliable source code which meets functional and technical requirements and adheres to software engineering/object oriented best practices, while staying consistent with existing solutions. •  Work with Business Analysts and users to translate business requirements into technical designs. •  Perform complex systems analysis and programming activities that may require research. •  Create/maintain design and technical specifications for new and ongoing development projects. •  Work with the Software Quality Assurance team to develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance plans. •  Should be ready to provide Tier 3 (development, on-call) production support. on a rotational basis. Position Requirements Position Requirements and Experience: •  Five plus years of experience focusing on full life cycle application development. •  Strong experience in ASP.NET on n-tier architecture. •  Strong experience in C# and .NET framework 3.5. •  Strong experience in Web Services and WCF. •  Strong experience working with Windows services and Windows application development. •  Strong SQL experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and newer. SSIS experience in is a plus. •  Strong grasp of relational database concepts, including experience in stored procedures, functions, tuning and optimizing SQL queries, data normalization and data modeling. •  Strong grasp of application security and information security with experience in designing secure applications. •  Strong command of Object Oriented concepts. •  Knowledge and experience with design patterns (including MVC), service-oriented architecture, solution frameworks and single sign-on. •  Experience working with multi-threaded applications. •  Experience working with message queuing technology (IBM MQ) and Crystal Reports. •  Familiar with source control management system – SourceSafe. •  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. •  Strong financial/business knowledge preferred. •  Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical requirements. •  Excellent PC skills and common business applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio). •  Excellent written/verbal skills.
