Position Description Candidate will participate in the design and development of the Aligne Web Client utilizing SunGard’s HTML5 Rich Client Architecture Will be coding mostly on the front-end in JavaScript and CSS3, but you will also participate in discussions about full-stack issues like security, performance and scalability and develop RESTFul/JSON based services. Need to have a passion for JavaScript and the Web, you never stop looking out for new technologies to try out and keep informed of the latest trends in Web development. Should be motivated by complex challenges and love finding the best solutions possible. Experienced in HTML, JavaScript and CSS. You are up-to-date with client-side MVC and MVVM frameworks (preferably AngularJS). You have some familiarity with server-side development and how to maintain complex Web applications. You argue passionately for your best ideas, but are willing to collaborate and occasionally be proven wrong. You're comfortable admitting when you don't know something, but never satisfied until you've learned the answer. You hold yourself to the highest standards, and feel a sense of accomplishment in helping the people around you be better. Position Requirements • BE or BTech in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics or equivalent required • Strong analytical and communication skills required • Self-motivated, quick learner, independent, positive and with a “can do” attitude • Required: Expert knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, Javascript. • Ideal: Experience working with jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, RESTful/JSON. • Assets: Working knowledge or previous experience with Node.js, Java, Spring, Hibernate • Good English-language Documentation skills. • Good eye for graphic and visual design.
