Position Description SunGard is looking for a Junior Java Developer to be part of a new broad project team. We are working on an innovative new platform for our future state products that will require technical expertise in composing and customizing client solutions. You will be required to work with Java based technologies to compose core services, built by the development team, into fully functioning market specific or customer specific solutions. You will have to write Java code and scripting code (Groovy) to customize the core application services to meet customer specific demands. Position Requirements •Diploma or equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science •3+ year of Java development experience •Experience working with scripting languages such as Groovy or Python a strong plus •Experience with service oriented architectures and/or event driven architectures a strong plus •Experience with JMS a plus •Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus •Experience  with Linux and Windows environments •Good communication skills •Experience working in a multi-cultural and multi-regional environment •Fluency in English & French (spoken and written) mandatory •Strong interest in Finance SunGard’s solutions for capital markets help banks, broker-dealers, futures commission merchants and other financial institutions improve the efficiency, transparency and control of their trading and processing.
