Position Description providing technical support for multiple products Production and maintenance of appropriate technical documentation. Conduct tool/framework evaluations Performance tuning for Java platform. SQL tuning for Oracle database. Technical Architect for SAFAL Analysis of technology requirements Design reviews and code reviews for SAFAL. Create technology roadmap for SAFAL. Position Requirements Proficiency in the following: • Server side Java programming • Object Oriented Design and Analysis • Software debugging techniques • Extensive use of unit and/or regression testing • Java Performance Tuning, Garbage Collection Log Analysis • Oracle SQL Tuning • Experience with both UNIX and Windows operating systems • Source Control concepts and management, preferably Subversion and Git • Experience with quality management systems like Sonar, Cast • Refactoring skills and willingness to determine and remove technical debt • Experience with continuous integration frameworks like Bamboo. • Experience with build automation frameworks like Maven, Ant.
