The SQE will be involved in creating and executing test plans and testing, working interactively with Product Development and Product Management to improve the quality of the productsResponsibilities:
- Development of test plans and test cases relating to brokerage industry projects.
- Execution of test cases in accordance with scheduled timelines.
- Identify, assess, and record issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with project team members and management to assess and manage project risk.
- Develop and distribute regular status reports and test metrics as appropriate.
- Provide timely & accurate updates to QA manager/lead and project team.
- Handle and support dynamic schedule, multiple environments, test cycles and deployments.
- Increase testing efficiency through use of tools and automation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of the product life cycle from initial marketing requirements through development, testing, and deployment while also be able to effectively participate in cross-functional meetings, clearly articulate project risk and provide concise recommendations regarding product quality. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is desired.- Experience in all aspects of software testing, from requirement analysis to functional test design to execution to reporting is required.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, highly complex environment.
- Must have good analytical problem solving skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Brokerage industry experience is preferred.
- Experience testing in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment is preferred.
- Experience coordinating testing efforts is preferred.
- Experience with Quality Center is preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum is preferred.
- Experience with Quick Test Professional or test automation is also a plus.
