Description

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and testing of web applications for the ONESOURCE Workflow Tools products. Workflow Tools are a suite of products developed and managed centrally by the Shared Platform Group (SPG) within the Tax & Accounting business unit of Thomson Reuters and is an integral part of products sold to the corporate tax markets in addition to the U.S. and global professional accounting markets. Additionally, SPG has development and asset-ownership responsibilities of the ONESOURCE Platform which is the single-point of entry and workstation for the entire ONESOURCE Product line.

In this role, the candidate will engineer solutions from within a team environment that are utilized by our market leading web hosted workflow and document management solutions. The position will include design, development, testing and oversight of small to medium projects. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive candidate with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, energetic work environment. The ideal candidate must have strong technical, troubleshooting and analytical skills combined with a keen ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Technical Accountabilities:
- Estimate, design, code, and test applications consistent with internal development processes
- Develop.Net enterprise level web applications
- Work in an Agile, test driven development environment

Qualifications

Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science
- 3 years of full-time web development experience in the following: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005+, T-SQL and JavaScript
- Experience in building web services using WSE/WCF/Web API
- XML, XSL, JSON, XPATH, JavaScript, DHTML ,JQuery
