Tetra Tech EMC currently has an opportunity for a Software Engineer/Developer in our Camarillo office.
Responsibilities
Elicit and document customer requirements
Prepare software design specifications
Use
software design specifications and adapt standardized techniques,
methods, criteria and precedents to develop or modify portions of an
application with adherence to system standards
Unit Test Applications
Prepare Test Plans
Support User Acceptance Testing
Participate in Technical Reviews
Troubleshoot problems and provide customer support on application issues
Maintain and keep up to date with development best practices
Participate in special projects as required
Essential knowledge
Proficiency in dynamic web development languages including JavaScript, , HTML, C#, and .Net technology
Knowledge of full Software Development Life Cycle
Knowledge or experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, and similar relational database systems
Knowledge or experience with CSS
Working knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation (WFC)
Knowledge or experience developing systems using .Net, MVC3.0+, classic ASP, Cold Fusion, Java, NetBeans, Struts Framework, JQuery/JPlot, TOAD, XML, XSL, XSLT, and AJAX
Additional Knowledge – helpful
Familiarity with Ordnance and DoD Navy Programs
Familiarization or experience with estimating techniques like Function Point and CMMI-compliant processes and procedures a plus
SharePoint development and Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience

Job Requirements :
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
Associates’ (AA) degree
from an accredited college or university in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of six years related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or training is required.
Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills
Strong team player with solid interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Must be a self starter and have the ability to work in a time critical environment
