Job Description :

 Software Engineer, FactSet Research Systems, Inc., Norwalk, CT: Develop & maintain software solutions to receive, normalize, process and distribute real time market data to the FactSet platform. Duties include: evaluate exchange and vendor data specifications, develop systems to interpret and integrate this data into our data centers, apply business rules, distribute the data to consumers, develop data APIs to allow consumption of this data by clients and third parties, and ensure all related systems are operating reliably and efficiently. Provide on-call support for client queries and market related events. Work with Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Product Development, Quality Assurance, and the Security team to ensure timely development and delivery of projects. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related technical field and 2 years of related experience. Must also have experience coding, testing, debugging and system integration and have worked with the following technologies:  C++, Visual Studio, MFC and COM.  Must also have full life cycle application development experience.
