Job Description :
Software Engineering Manager, Content Integration Engineering, FactSet Research Systems, Inc., New York, NY: Manages
a team of software engineers within Content Integration Engineering.
Duties include: Review product requirement documents, write technical
design documents, implements and tracks development timelines, and
negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams. Sets
goals and mentors development of ongoing projects. Provides guidance
and direction to team on software design and implementation. Reviews
code changes and submissions. Presents technical & operational
issues to senior management and sets deadlines and priorities for team
members. Works with peers who may be located in other geographic
offices and helps bridge communication between project stakeholders.
Reacts to Market influences by reprioritizing projects on an as-needed
basis. Ensures that all related systems are operating reliably and
efficiently. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or higher,
or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 2 years
of software engineering industry experience working with following
technologies: Windows, Linux, VMS, C, C++, C#, Javascript, Visual Studio
and MySQL. Must also have experience with, Object Oriented
Programming, Multi-threaded Programming, Job scheduling &
synchronization and working autonomously in all phases of the software
development life cycle. This position qualifies for the internal
