Description
As a Senior User Researcher you will join a cross-functional UX team engaged in the reshaping of entire market-leading product lines. You will work closely with a growing team of designers and developers to lead research efforts as part of creating holistic experience solutions for mobile and web. The group is diverse, focused, fun, practices Agile/Lean UX, and reports to the CTO of the Tax & Accounting Division. We are internal consultants, and work on a wide range of sophisticated applications with rich interaction models targeted to professionals around the world.

Responsibilities
- Develop the user research discipline within the organization
- Work closely with product teams to uncover business needs and develop appropriate user research strategies for all platforms, including web, mobile and desktop
- Identify and recruit study participants
- Organize, schedule and perform user interviews, focus groups, usability tests, surveys and other research related events
- Establish KPIs and analyze web analytics
- Collect and analyze user data and effectively communicate your findings to the product teams
- Develop personas, user scenarios and narratives
- Evangelize user research throughout the organization

Qualifications
- Bachelor or MS in the area of Cognitive, Behavioral, Experimental or Industrial Psychology, Human Factors, Anthropology, Human Computer Interaction or Interaction Design
- Experience analyzing complex qualitative and quantitative data
- Experience with common research methodologies, including usability testing, contextual inquiry, shadowing, focus gropus and surveys
- Experience with user segmentation and persona development
- Experience working in agile development environment and with guerilla research methods
- Excellent analytical, oral, written, and visual communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Must be very organized
- Ability to collaborate actively and effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Eager to learn new methods and technologies
- Experience with web analytics a huge plus
- Passionate about UCD, evangelist of usability and user research best practices
- Some travel may be required
