Your Mission


You will operationalize Blizzard’s growth marketing channels to deliver personalized, player-first marketing experiences. This role focuses on managing and optimizing marketing ops processes, tool adoption, and driving operational excellence across O&O channels. You’ll partner with technical teams, marketing strategists, and external vendors to translate business needs into actionable plans. Success means enabling accurate data flows, improving growth marketing processes across all channels, and facilitating initiatives that deepen player engagement. Responsibilities 


This position ensures the smooth execution of growth marketing initiatives by coordinating timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional deliverables. You will serve as a key liaison between technical and marketing teams, championing best practices and operational improvements. The role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will also help document workflows and support governance for data-driven marketing programs.


 


Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


Manage operational, technical and process workflows for campaigns across multiple channels.

Ensure milestones are met across cross functional teams and external vendors to deliver accurate, timely campaign execution.

Execute and lead asset trafficking, localization, legal and stakeholder review work streams

Define clear requirements and timelines for key business initiatives to enable efficient delivery.

Drive usage of platforms like Braze and document best practices to improve operational consistency and scalability.

Create and update process guides, workflows, and governance materials to support compliance and efficiency.

Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, game teams, marketing strategists, and vendor partners to resolve blockers quickly.

Partner with analytics and engineering teams to ensure accurate data flows for segmentation and personalization.

Communicate progress and escalate risks to leadership to maintain transparency and accountability.

Recommend enhancements to tools, processes, and reporting to optimize CRM program performance.

Collaborate with internal privacy and security teams to uphold Blizzard’s data protection policies.

 


 


Player Profile / Minimum Requirements


Minimum 5 years of experience in CRM, data operations, marketing agency, or  program management.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with experience bridging technical and non-technical teams.

Proficiency with project management tools (Wrike, Jira, Confluence).

Familiarity with marketing technology and platforms (Braze, Appsflyer, GCP, HighTouch).

 


Preferred / Nice-to-have


PMP or similar project management certification.

Experience with SQL or data query tools.

Knowledge of data governance and privacy compliance.

Industry experience in gaming, e-commerce, or subscription services.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with deep experience in mobile marketing analytics to join our team. In this role, you will build predictive revenue and LTV models, develop probabilistic attribution, marketing mix models, and create systems that allow us to understand—and optimize—the true impact of our mobile marketing investments. The ideal candidate has a passion for using data to shape mobile player acquisition and retention strategies, thrives in highly collaborative environments, and can translate complex analytical concepts into clear, actionable insights for partners across Blizzard.


Responsibilities


Build and maintain automated and dynamic predictive LTV models for mobile apps across multiple geographies, channels, campaigns, and platforms.

 

Develop automated revenue and user growth forecasting systems that integrate with UA and finance workflows.

Own the statistical framework for cohort modeling, retention projections, ROAS forecasting, and lifetime value prediction.

Lead measurement strategy in a privacy-centric ecosystem, including:

SKAdNetwork (SKAN) configuration and model-based postback interpretation

Probabilistic attribution and MMM

Incrementality testing and causal inference

Funnel and cohort analysis across a complex landscape of iOS/Android/PC and Console

Build data pipelines and automated reporting that harmonize deterministic and probabilistic signals.

Collaborate with marketing, finance, and business teams to translate insights into actionable strategies by providing:

Paid media performance insights

Budget planning and scenario modeling, both one off and automated

Creative testing analytics

Channel-level optimization recommendations

Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to monitor marketing KPIs and model outputs.

Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.

Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data science.

Requirements


8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, with deep expertise in mobile marketing, predictive revenue modeling, or mobile UA analytics.

Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.

Expert knowledge of:

Cohort-based modeling and LTV prediction

Marketing measurement frameworks (SKAN, ATT, MMM, incrementality)

Paid media platforms: Meta, Google, TikTok, DSPs, SANs

Probabilistic and deterministic attribution approaches, last-click attribution and alternatives

Experience deploying models and working with engineering teams to automate workflows.

Strong programming experience in Python (or R) and proficiency in SQL.

Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and advanced statistical modeling techniques.

Hands-on experience with modern data and analytics tools, including BigQuery/Snowflake, Airflow/dbt, Tableau/Looker, and Python-based ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Expertise in data visualization and storytelling using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.

The server team is responsible for the backend services that power Overwatch 2, from matchmaking and parties to player collections and battle passes. Matchmaking is a challenging problem, filled with trade-offs, compromises, and unexpected side effects. There is no "right answer", and sometimes solving one problem creates another. Working with a multi-functional team composed of designers, data analysts/scientists, and others, you will help navigate these tricky issues to deliver the best experience for our players.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES


Working with our matchmaking team, help design, implement, improve and maintain the matchmaking system and competitive features for Overwatch 2

Collaborate with designers, producers, and other programmers to maintain and implement non-gameplay features such as map voting, player profiles, custom games, and integrations with Battle.net

Support and improve the live service, with a focus on stability and performance

Advise and mentor programmers within your areas of expertise

 

REQUIREMENTS


A minimum of 5+ years’ relevant work experience (or a mix of work experience and education)

Shipped at least one AAA title as a sever engineer, ideally working on matchmaking and ranking systems

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $146,000.00 - $270,004.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. We are seeking a User Services Administrator / Support Technician for our location in Irvine, California.

As a support technician for our Enterprise Depot, you will serve as the single point of ownership for computer and software setup and delivery, including hands-on preparation of PCs and phone and email support for final setup steps for employees located throughout the United States and Canada. You will interact with both internal customers and other IT teams to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. You will interact with our vendors to assist in purchasing of computer accessories following company procedures.
 
You will also assist the help desk and provide support to end users on a variety of issues with excellent customer service. You will identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and general support of systems and applications. Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel request for technical support issues. Document, track and monitor progress of each issue or deployment to ensure a timely resolution. Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for PC setup and support. You must have the ability to work independently and to prioritize your workload according to the enterprise’s needs.

Training:

Your responsibilities on a daily basis:
·         Unbox and prepare PCs for deployment using imaging and software installation systems
·         Track each deployment and document work using Cherwell ticket system and company procedures
·         Provide final setup support via phone and email to staff across the US and Canada
·         Provide a level 1-2 technical support;
·         Using established procedures, provide first responder support for IT services (incidents, service requests and requests for information)
·         Diagnose and apply the required solution and by provide guidance using common troubleshooting techniques;
·         Provide detailed information for work performed in the request notes;
·         Apply escalation procedures when no workaround solution is found;
·         Keep track of the incident to help ensure request is routed to the appropriate team and, where applicable, keep requester informed of progress;
·         Monitor the progress of the request and inform the requester of the progress of their requests by providing effective diagnosis and solution;
·         Participate in upgrading the knowledge base (procedures, operational instructions);
·         Contribute to the resolution of problems and their documentation as well as the establishment of temporary or permanent solutions in investigating, diagnosing and testing different solutions;
 
Job Requirements
·         College degree in computer science or equivalent experience;
·         1-3 years of technical support experience;

·  Spanish, French, or other languages are a plus

      Your skills:
