Job Description :
Product Development Information Systems (PDIS) is pursuing a motivated engineer to join the RPD team. PDIS delivers innovative solutions to help FactSet employees achieve their goals. We are looking for a dedicated developer who excels in a collaborative team environment while having the ability to independently drive individual initiatives end to end.
RPD (Requests for Product Development) is the lifeblood of FactSet’s internal operations. RPD mainly serves as a vital communication platform between FactSet’s employee sectors. As Information System’s most actively used application, the user-base of RPD averages 85% of the employees at FactSet. We aid most job functions at FactSet including Sales, Consulting, Product Development, Systems and Software Engineering departments.
RPD Engineers are expected to contribute to the API, enhance the web application and develop effective scalable SQL solutions. A good candidate has the ability to analyze large tasks, produce design documents and implement requirements with detail oriented proficiency.

Job Requirements :
+ BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Object-oriented programming experience (C#)
+ Good understanding of relational database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL)
Desired Skills:
+ Expertise in JavaScript development
+ Web development experience
