The IFS New Business Systems team and the IFS Producer Sales/Customer Applications team (both in Information Services Operation) are seeking multiple individuals to provide development and support for IFS applications and systems. These positions will assist with determining specifications based on business, while adhering to current application development processes. The new team members will also assist in solving application system problems with assistance as needed from application and technical staff. 
 
Essential Functions:
  • Assists in solving application system problems with assistance as needed from application and technical personnel. 
  • Responsible for the development, maintenance and integration of applications and systems that support IFS operations.
  • Responsible for having the knowledge of the tools and languages used to develop, maintain and execute systems.
  • Responsible for understanding and leveraging approaches for designing, developing, testing, debugging applications and assisting with issues.
  • Responsible for understanding the business, business objectives and current business challenges within the supported business area.
  • Responsible for acting as an internal consultant, and mentor to more junior staff. Provides task-level leadership, guidance, and direction.
  • Responsible for complying with all Company Information Services policies and standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on technology solutions to protect Company data from intentional or accidental misuse.

Qualifications

Basic/Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in systems analysis and design
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field of study (or equivalent work experience - 4 years in systems analysis and design)
  • Two years of work experience in Java/J2EE and in Web Services
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in assignments.

Essential Functions
  • Develops and supports Investment Management and Investment Accounting applications. Enforces coding standards and performs code reviews with peers. Performs unit, integration, system and Customer Acceptance testing.  Coordinates acceptance testing of product and/or vendor application; assists with non-functional testing (performance, security, etc).

Qualifications

Minimum Job requirements:

Summary of Job Function

The Information Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) group is responsible for the Implementation, Security, Maintenance and Access Administration of Information Security managed technologies. These technologies focus on access controls across mainframe and distributed platforms.

The IAM organization is segregated into 5 specific disciplines:

1. Mainframe (ACF2, OTIS, SONI)

2. Enterprise Identity and Access Management (ITIM, Aveksa)

3. HPNSK/Tandem

4. Identity Administration

5. Enterprise Role Based Access Control (E-RBAC)

This position focuses on the implementation, maintenance, and support of security on the mainframe and HPNSK systems.

Recommend resources required for maintaining or expanding service levels. Works closely with clients to analyze problems and implement solutions. Assist supervisor in providing estimates of work effort and impact of projects and tasks. Understand and support the technologies that are within their specific discipline while also understanding the philosophies, impacts and processes of the group as a whole. Understand, adhere and enforce departmental and Corporate Security standards, policies and procedure.

Essential Responsibilities

Under limited supervision:

Implement, maintain and support Access Control Lists used by the HPNSK systems.

Implement, maintain and support access to data and resources on mainframe systems.

Configure and support security for new HPNSK systems.

Configure and support security for new clients on the mainframe platform.

Identify and design ways to streamline or improve efficiency of assigned tasks as well as presenting recommended solutions to management.

Identify and mitigate risk while adhering to corporate and departmental change control procedures

Must be proficient in troubleshooting problems. Must be able to isolate problems in a timely manner and resolve them to the satisfaction of the client.

Responding to and processing incoming requests in a courteous, timely manner while adhering to TSYS policies

Proactive communication and escalation of issues to management

Education:

Must have a four year college degree and two or more years professional experience or four or more years professional experience. Job Summary

Responsibilities
With little or no supervision, develops and builds applications within department in a fast-paced object oriented environment. Participates in the design phase of all software projects to ensure that application architecture best practices are considered and followed. Qualifications

Education/Experience

Four year college degree in Computer Science or Information Management and eight or more years professional experience, or equivalent technical degree with ten or more years professional experience is required.

Extensive experience in OO development, J2EE (JSP, JMS, EJB, Servlets, JDBC, etc.), web service development and testing (XML, XSD, SOAP, WSDL, etc.), and a RDMBS (OLTP & OLAP) preferably with DB2, Oracle or SQL Server. Knowledge of application-level security concepts.

Candidates should have experience designing and developing highly scalable, highly available enterprise applications that include B2B/B2C applications and Enterprise systems integration. Experience integrating with mainframe systems, with a focus on MQSeries middleware.

Experience with full systems lifecycle design and development, including some business/process analysis experience, Agile Methodology preferred.

The BI-COE will collaborate with the DI – COE (Data Integration COE) and the IA (Information Architecture COE) in designing and developing information solutions that maximize utility of information to provide insight into target business initiatives. The BI Developer will be responsible for end-to-end solution design of BI information capabilities to support First Horizon business initiatives. Additionally, the developer will be responsible for participating in the design of the underlying enterprise BI architecture and governance programs. The BI COE will also act as a resources center to put forth best practices of BI implementations, BI methodologies and standard artifacts, UI style guides, training, project forecasting models and continued education.

The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Play a leadership role in the BI framework architecture and methodology that will be used in enabling BI solutions at First Horizon
• Provide proven expertise in architecture and implementation of the Cognos BI products, including the development and delivery of impactful BI solutions
