The candidate will plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. The resource will be responsible for the design and development of Windows desktop tools, web tools, and databases used by engineering during product development. This position requires experience in developing applications using C#, ASP.Net, Siverlight,WCF,REST and Microsoft SQL Server, designing user interfaces, working with product engineers to ensure that tools meet their requirements.
Required Skills:
- Should have an experience of 4 - 5.5 years in to Microsoft technologies in to asp.net, C# along with a minimum experience of 1 year in to Silverlight.
- The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.

The Partners
Engineering team in Hyderabad will be responsible for developing a new
Web oriented version of current FactSet’s Partners product using MVC3
/C# / C++/jQuery product containing key. The initial focus will be
mainly in the area of document authoring and client workflow. To deliver

required to leverage cutting edge Web technologies and integrate it with
back end technologies like OpenXML. This is a great opportunity for a
strong engineer to join this highly energetic team with the common goal
of building new cutting edge service. Besides the new Web based product,

solution. Activities include bug fixing, database integration (SQL
server, Oracle and Sybase), enhancements to existing codebase with newer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage FactSet Partners Core Engineering or Web Authoring (backend/frontend) teams in Hyderabad
· Lead a small team of 3-5 less experienced software engineers

· Participate in peer code reviews, maintain project/operational documentation and train/coach less experienced team members
· Implement continuous flow of improvement requested by the business delivering high quality code

The CCS Application Engineering team

About the Role
As an Engineering Manager on the FinTech Data & ML Systems team, you will:
Lead a high-performing team of data engineers and platform specialists in designing, implementing, and scaling data and ML solutions that power analytics, decision-making, and automation across FinTech.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience and proven experience as a Software or Data Engineering Manager, leading teams that deliver large-scale data infrastructure or platform solutions.
Deep technical expertise in distributed data systems, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and streaming.
Working knowledge of machine learning workflows and supporting infrastructure (e.g., feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring).
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills — especially when partnering with analytics, data science, and product teams.
Demonstrated ability to set vision, define roadmaps, and deliver data-driven solutions that support analytics and ML applications.
Passion for mentoring engineers and fostering an environment of learning, innovation, and accountability.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
9+ years of experience designing or supporting data and ML infrastructure, such as feature stores, model registries, or experimentation platforms.
Hands-on familiarity with big data and orchestration technologies (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Flink, Kafka, or equivalent).
Understanding of ML operations (MLOps) and best practices for operationalizing models at scale.
Experience in FinTech or Payments, especially in domains involving risk, fraud, compliance, or automation.
Knowledge of data privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements in financial systems.
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
