Qualifications:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, related degree, or comparable experience

Develop and optimize data processing workflows, including batch processing pipelines and event-driven computing.


Migrate on-premises applications into AWS leveraging modern serverless and microservices patterns.


Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, frameworks, and best practices


Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between architecture, development, and operational objectives.


Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Git, Terraform, and configuration management tools (Chef preferred).


Perform application and database performance tuning, system troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.


Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).


8–10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and/or application architecture.


Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and Python development.


Strong practical in AWS cloud platforms, especially with API Gateway, Lambda, Glue, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, S3, and EC2.


Familiarity with API security, authentication mechanisms, and API management best practices.


Experience in database design and query optimization (PostgreSQL preferred).


Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular is a plus.


Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, DevOps methodologies, and related tools (Terraform, Git, Jenkins, Chef).


Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).


Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.


Demonstrated experience as a team lead, mentor, or technical subject matter expert.


Passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement in coding standards and delivery processes.


Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000.

Your Mission


You will operationalize Blizzard’s growth marketing channels to deliver personalized, player-first marketing experiences. This role focuses on managing and optimizing marketing ops processes, tool adoption, and driving operational excellence across O&O channels. You’ll partner with technical teams, marketing strategists, and external vendors to translate business needs into actionable plans. Success means enabling accurate data flows, improving growth marketing processes across all channels, and facilitating initiatives that deepen player engagement. Your work will help Blizzard leverage data responsibly and creatively to enhance global marketing impact.


 


 


Responsibilities 


This position ensures the smooth execution of growth marketing initiatives by coordinating timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional deliverables. You will serve as a key liaison between technical and marketing teams, championing best practices and operational improvements. The role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will also help document workflows and support governance for data-driven marketing programs.


 


Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


Manage operational, technical and process workflows for campaigns across multiple channels.

Ensure milestones are met across cross functional teams and external vendors to deliver accurate, timely campaign execution.

Execute and lead asset trafficking, localization, legal and stakeholder review work streams

Define clear requirements and timelines for key business initiatives to enable efficient delivery.

Drive usage of platforms like Braze and document best practices to improve operational consistency and scalability.

Create and update process guides, workflows, and governance materials to support compliance and efficiency.

Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, game teams, marketing strategists, and vendor partners to resolve blockers quickly.

Partner with analytics and engineering teams to ensure accurate data flows for segmentation and personalization.

Communicate progress and escalate risks to leadership to maintain transparency and accountability.

Recommend enhancements to tools, processes, and reporting to optimize CRM program performance.

Collaborate with internal privacy and security teams to uphold Blizzard’s data protection policies.

 


 


Player Profile / Minimum Requirements


Minimum 5 years of experience in CRM, data operations, marketing agency, or  program management.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with experience bridging technical and non-technical teams.

Proficiency with project management tools (Wrike, Jira, Confluence).

Familiarity with marketing technology and platforms (Braze, Appsflyer, GCP, HighTouch).

 


Preferred / Nice-to-have


PMP or similar project management certification.

Experience with SQL or data query tools.

Knowledge of data governance and privacy compliance.

Industry experience in gaming, e-commerce, or subscription services.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $38.85 - $71.83 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
