Summary
The Web Product Analyst (WPA) will provide solutions for self-servicing web applications. The WPA will work in a team environment, to help develop application enhancements. A successful WPA will have the ability to document complex ideas; communicate those ideas clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
This position will require the WPA to work across a wide variety of areas – Product Development, IT Delivery (including development and testing areas), Production Support, and Client Facing Business Partners.
A successful WPA will have the ability to work independently as well as working within a team atmosphere. This position will also require project coordination skills as well as the ability to contribute to multiple concurrent projects. The WPA must pay attention to details, have the ability to be a ‘self-starter’ and from time to time work under limited supervision.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
· Working with internal and external clients to define, document, and design self-servicing web applications.
· Creation of documentation including high level business requirements, functional requirements, design specifications, use cases, and process flows.
· Facilitating design workshops and review sessions.
· Assisting with developing testing approach and may be called upon to assist with functional testing.
While it is not required, a successful WPA should be knowledgeable in client-side web based technologies, including HTML5 and CSS. Exposure to User Interface Design will be considered a key factor in the hiring process. Some exposure to Responsive Design principles is considered a favorable attribute for this position.
Exposure to TSYS TS2 or TS1 processing, or similar payment processing systems will be considered a key factor in the hiring process.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Four year college degree and 2 or more years professional experience or 4 or more years professional experience is required. Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, network engineering, or computer science is preferred as is directly related experience in credit card or financial services, information technology, project management, or system administration/support field.
